Kingdom Hearts III was re-released with the DLC chapters as Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC) for PC on the Epic Games Store on March 30, 2021. An additional downloadable chapter, Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind, was released on January 23, 2020. Kingdom Hearts III was released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan on January 25, 2019, and internationally on January 29, 2019. Kingdom Hearts III was first announced at E3 2013 on June 11, 2013, as the first multiplatform title in the series. Serving as a direct sequel to both Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, it follows Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they prepare to face Master Xehanort and his plan to re-ignite the Keyblade War and reclaim Kingdom Hearts.
Kingdom Hearts III is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix in collaboration with Disney and Pixar, and the thirteenth title in the Kingdom Hearts series.
